Some bad news:
As some of you noticed, our site has been hacked. While the comic seems to be unaffected, our archives, about, and other pages are occasionally being swapped out for ads for handbags. I can’t figure out how, why or when the swap is happening (apparently not everyone is seeing it), but it’s definitely making a mess of things.
While this obviously blows pretty hard, it’s not the worst-case scenario. New comics will still post fine and on schedule, just a lot of our supporting material will be done until Dana and I can fix things. While we work on the site, commenting will be disabled. I don’t want anyone typing any email addresses into anything that may be fishing for emails for whatever bullshit spam purposes, “harmless” as that would be. I don’t think the site in general is at all dangerous, but sometimes commenting features on wordpress sites get wonky when things get hacked. If you need to contact us, you can reach us at:

Dana and I are very sorry for the hassle this has caused any of you. We are also supremely, profoundly, divinely grateful for the readers who were not only kind enough to tell us about the hack, but send us screenshots so we could actually see what’s going on (Dana and I have yet to see the hack ourselves).
It will take us a little while to fix things (the whole weekend at least), but things should be back to normal/functional in a bit. Thanks for reading everyone, and sorry for the hassle!
<3 Mike

So… Who’s this blogger you’re talking about? Also, Dana’s pretty much on the up and up with her questions 85% of the time.
