So we’ve had a few readers ask about seeing a before/after picture of my beard/no beard transition. It took a little digging since there are like four photographs of me in the whole world, but I think I found some shots that show the difference pretty well:
Among other things, I guess the lesson here is how well a beard hides a man’s need for a haircut. And also how proper use of mascara really draws attention to my gorgeous lashes.

The beard made your nose look a lot bigger. It also made you look tired. Just as well you shaved it off.
