I just picked up the comic series Invincible again, after about two years off. If you’re not familiar with the series, Invincible is a comic that I guess is best described as a more emotionally and philosophically complex Superman. The stakes actually matter, the plot actually moves, and the world and characters are actually interesting and compelling. Since picking the series up again (up to about issue 66 now), I can barely put it down. It’s be a long, long time since I’ve read a superhero comic that is actually a page turner, but Invincible is still hitting the spot after all these years. If you at all like Superman or the superhero genre, you owe it to yourself to pick it up.

I might have to grab an issue or two. I personally can’t wait for Justice League #1 at the end of the month. The preview they have for it looks spectacular! Jim Lee’s pencils just keep getting better.
Eh, not too excited about the DC reboot myself. Haha, also not a huge Lee fan, though I remember liking his artwork on Hush. To each his own though, I’m definitely not trying to hate!
lol no prob. still need to read Hush. Bought it two weeks ago. Haven’t been too involved with any DC story lines for about 12 years so I look at this reboot as an opportunity for me to finally get me back into my love of reading comics.
