Awkward weirdos love the library and our free internet access, free/cheap DVDs, and books about birds. I guarantee that the exotic bird woman(?) would have just spent over an hour making the librarian(s) attempt to locate and order obscure and out-of-print books on exotic birds via interlibrary loan. My branch has a woman just like this, except her areas of interest are dogs and exercise equipment. Meatball-bag-guy is also a fair representation of roughly 10% of our regulars.
