Barking Dogs, Frankensteins Suck

Barking Dogs: Confession time: I don’t actually hate dogs. Not a big fan of barking though …

Frankensteins: Second confession time: Not every Frankenstein is a pain in Castlevania. Try enough lvl 1 challenges though in Order of Ecclesia, and you’ll start to think that flying knee attacks are a lot less cool.

Breath of Death VII is pretty neat so far. Not the most amazing retro throwback I’ve ever played, but for a dollar I can hardly complain. The writing is pretty good, and the gameplay is interesting enough so far. Something neat in the game is that depending on how well you do in battle, you have a chance to heal completely and regain MP as well. Makes combat a little more interesting, and also reduces the need for MP rationing between towns.

Why do I not know anyone like you!?

Basically it’s because people like me live like leprechauns, doing our best to hide from human eyes. Instead of granting wishes if you catch us though, we just tell you a lot depressing stories about our childhood while eating all your food.

“Frankenstein” is the name of the dude that made The Monster, who never gets a name. I like to call him Hector.
(That is one of the worst books ever)

      1) I’m aware that Frankenstein is the the doctor’s name, and not the creature’s. I thought naming it the “creature” in the comic would have been confusing when paired with a drawing of something that is culturally best known as “frankenstein.” I don’t know, maybe that was a mistake, but at the worst I think it’s lose/lose decision with the name in that comic.

      2) I really liked that book. It’s been a while since I’ve read it, but I remember it being far and away my favorite from my “british romanticism” class in college.
