It’s not as if they asked permission to swipe the entire premise of the movie. “Gee, do you mind if we take your under the radar, entirely awesome, gothic camp fest film and turn it into a cheap hollywood sci-fi cash cow? What’s that? LALALALALALALALALA, I CAAAAAAAN’T HEEEEEEEEEEEAR YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOI! 8D”.

Repo Men is actually based off of Repo: The Genetic Opera, which is significantly awesomer than this Jude Law monstrocity. It is ridiculous and take pride in that ridiculousness. It’s pretty, dark and gruesome, and Paris Hilton provides her own costumes, which somehow makes her character seem that much cooler. Anthony Stewart (Rupert Giles) sings really well, Alexis Vega plays a physically sick but rebellious girl, and the character known as Graverobber is AWESOME. He’s the narrator.

If I’m assuming from what I heard about Repo Men, Jude Law is supposed to play a young Anthony Stewart, in which case that character wasn’t even a Repo man until the death of his wife, Marni. laaaaame.
