Haha, yeah Jon, I don't know, like I said, I let myself get mired down in sidequests. Plus, I have mental problems that make games with capped-XP systems, where you have to allocate your levels a specific way to get the best max stats, cause me literal mental distress (this is why I can also not enjoy Oblivion, despite it being an amazing game otherwise). I realize that power gaming is not at all required to enjoy the game, but I can't not worry about maxing the talents I want. Plus, looking in every single box for ammo and parts (because of my mental probelms), I would literally become dizzy sometimes.

I'm not saying the game was bad, because it's not. We all know it's pretty great. It's just that my brain will not allow me to enjoy it properly.

I suppose I should pick it back up at some point, but now, with Dragon Age on the way, Fallout 3 is going to be benched for a while longer.

Great comic, but I think your Glenn Beck looks a little off. Mentally, however, he seems spot on.

Haha, I actually saw that clip this morning. My very favorite thing is that he has a random chubby guy in an elevated glass booth pretending to be Chairman Mao. When I wrote this comic, I had done about zero research and threw the Mao thing in on a lark, but it turns out he's Beck is all about name-dropping Mao. Amazing.

@Danas: The scummy stoner beard and tight yellow t-shirt makes it for me.

@Nicholas: I didn't even know Tales of Symphonia had co-op, that's pretty cool. I was more considering it for a game just for myself. As wonderful as my girlfriend is, I don't think sitting through a JRPG storyline just to whack some lizardmen with a sword every five minutes or so is going to be exactly thrilling for her. I'll keep the recommendation in mind though otherwise, and thanks for the tip.

As far as videogames go, Tales Of Symphonia is a really great game, and I highly recommend it. Although it may not be the best if you're looking for something with a good co-op system. Most of the game is played in the field map, in town, or in dungeons, and that part is entirely single-player. The co-op elements only really come into effect in battle, when you can have several people controlling characters and fighting at the same time.
